SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the click here office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
